How to vote in London

Plain steps to get you from "am I ready?" to "I voted."

   Am I eligible to vote?

   You can vote in the London municipal election if you are a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old on voting day, and a resident of London (or own/rent property here). You can only vote once.

   Check that you're on the voters' list

   Visit the City of London elections website to check if you're registered. If not, you can add or update your info online, or register in person on voting day with ID.

   What to bring

   Bring one piece of ID that shows your name and London address. A driver's licence works. If you don't have one, other documents like a utility bill and a photo ID together are accepted.

   Where and when to vote

   Voting locations are assigned based on your address. You'll receive a voter information card in the mail with your polling location and hours. Advance voting days are also available before election day.
